This limited-edition gin is the second of the Salcombe Gin Voyager Series, a collection of limited-edition gins, each developed in collaboration with a world renowned chef or iconic winemaker, to reflect their individual personality and style.
Named ‘Mischief’ after one of the famous Salcombe Fruit Schooners, this limited-edition gin has been developed in collaboration with celebrated chef, restaurateur and food writer Mark Hix MBE.
Limited to 1,200 bottles, ‘Mischief’ is presented in a stunning white ceramic bottle featuring an embossed outline of the iconic gin pennant and a bespoke debossed copper stopper commissioned for the series. Its presentation box has beautiful copper detailing and contains a recipe card for the ‘Scallywag’ cocktail created by Mark and his team at Hix Restaurants.
Start Point is created using the finest Macedonian juniper berries selected for their high limonene content and the fresh citrus peels of red grapefruit, lemon and lime which are hand peeled each day prior to distillation.
A further nine botanicals including English coriander seed, cardamom, cubeb berries, liquorice and angelica roots are used to create this exceptionally smooth London-Dry Gin.
Start Point has distinct notes of red grapefruit along with heady, earthy pine notes from the finest Macedonian juniper. It is perfectly balanced with warming spiced aromas and has an amazing fresh and lengthy finish.
