Salcombe Gin combined with Cornish Knightor vermouth - Stirred, not shaken, for the perfect finish

Ingredients

50ml Salcombe Gin,
10ml Knightor Dry Vermouth

Method

  • Fill a martini glass with ice to chill.
  • Pour a large 50ml measure of Salcombe Gin and 10ml of Knightor dry vermouth into a mixing jug and fill to the top with ice, then stir the mixture using a bar spoon for at least 30 seconds.
  • Discard the clean ice from the martini glass, then using a conical strainer (large holes, no spring), pour the mix into the martini glass.
  • To garnish, create a rectangular grapefruit twist using a peeler and knife. Twist it over the glass before adding to release the essential oils onto the side of the glass.
